The GMA Science and Education Foundation (SEF) is a non-profit organization providing cutting edge research, best-in-class education and state-of-the-art technical training for the food global industry and suppliers. We support compliance with international standards by leveraging technologies, training and technical expertise provided by GMA SEF scientists and its network of experts and partners. We focus on training of trainers and establishing sustainable training business models for our international partners from academia, industry and regulators.
Research: The SEF research projects focus on innovations in technology and management which help companies mitigate food safety and fraud risks throughout their global supply chains.
State-of-the-art Training: The GMA SEF designs and delivers a comprehensive suite of training including HACCP trainer training accredited by the International HACCP Alliance (IHA), Better Process Control School (BPCS), Food Safety Culture, US FDA Food Safety Preventative Controls compliance with the US Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). The Global Food safety Initiative (GFSI) Global Markets Program (GMP) is a highlight of the foundational international training. These programs are offered by a growing global network of 40 institutions (Canada, Latin America, Caribbean, China, Asia and the EU). On-line operator level training focuses on practical topics related to metal detectors, sanitation, allergen control and more.
Best-in-class Education: “Hands-On: Real World Lessons” educates middle school children on personal hygiene, food safety and food preparation while meeting fundamental curriculum requirements. Currently taught in 25 states in the US, it is being scaled up to 50 states by 2020 and internationally.

Good Transportation Practices (GTPs) that will assist in controlling the chances of introducing any food safety hazards to food, either through the work environment or operational practices. These are the core of having a solid Food Safety foundation.
Module 4 - Driver Training (3 x 6 Minute Videos) Only for Drivers
Covers everything regarding the regulation and what drivers need to know as it relates to their job and how the Sanitary Transportation rule impacts them.
